French journalist Eric Maurice, editor in chief of Presseurop.eu and previously chief editor for Western Europe at Courrier International, is coming to the Alliance Française de Glasgow for a talk in French about the perception of contemporary France by the European press.
Organised in relation with our Current Affairs course, this talk is open to everyone. After presenting an outline of the image of France in the European media as well as "les enjeux de la presse", Eric Maurice will answer your questions about the press and media in general.
This talk and Q&A will be conducted in French.
Presseurop is a Paris-based news website publishing a daily selection of articles chosen from more than 200 international news titles, then translated into ten languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Romanian, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish and Czech).
