Edouard Cortès a choisi, pour se libérer du « monde d'en bas », d'aller vers celui « du haut » : au bord du gouffre, il va quitter femme et enfants pendant plusieurs mois pour vivre dans une cabane de sa propre construction, nichée dans un arbre en pleine forêt. Loin des réseaux sociaux et du tumulte de la société, il trouve une échappatoire dans le silence et la contemplation solitaire, et redécouvre des sensations essentielles au bien-être de chacun. Après avoir retranscrit son histoire en roman, il laisse à Dominique Mermoux le soin d'adapter avec justesse et sensibilité cet étonnant récit de vie.

How to find air when the daily grind and its infernal pace suffocate us? Edouard Cortès chose to break free from the "world below" by heading towards the "world above": on the brink of the abyss, he decides to leave his wife and children for several months to live in a cabin of his own construction, nestled in a tree in the middle of the forest. Far from social media and the tumult of society, he finds an escape in silence and solitary contemplation, rediscovering essential sensations for everyone's well-being. After transcribing his story into a novel, he entrusts Dominique Mermoux with the task of adapting this remarkable life story with accuracy and sensitivity.

Caquetant de joie, Poulette se met en route pour la grande fête aux œufs, où elle présentera le fruit de sa toute première ponte. Or, sa fébrilité la conduit à maintes reprises à échapper son œuf, qui est bientôt couvert de boue, de feuilles, de sable et de pétales de fleurs.

Clucking with joy, Poulette sets off for the grand egg festival, where she will present the result of her very first laying. However, her excitement causes her to repeatedly drop her egg, which soon becomes covered in mud, leaves, sand, and flower petals.
