How to Book a Course for Your Child

Step 1: Create Your Own Account

Create an account for yourself either:

• when booking a class, or
• by clicking the "Bonjour & Welcome" button in the top-right corner of the Alliance Française website.
  

Step 2: Select Your Child as the Student

When booking a course for your child, choose "Another family member, relative or employee" when prompted to select the student.

Step 3: Add Your Child's Details

Complete the form with your child's information and make sure the "Relationship" field is completed.

• If your child is too young to have their own email address, leave the email field blank.
  
• If your child is a teenager with their own email address, you can enter it so they can access the Student Portal directly (see below).
  

Step 4: Complete the Booking

Book the course for your child. On the final confirmation page, you will be able to verify that the correct student has been selected before completing your booking.

Accessing Your Child's Student Portal

All of our courses have a dedicated space on the Student Portal where teachers upload course materials, homework, useful documents and course information.

If you have set your relationship as Parent/Guardian, you will be able to access your child's Student Portal from your own account.

Step 1: Log in to the Student Portal

Log in to the Student Portal using your own account. You can access it from the Student Corner section of the Alliance Française de Glasgow website, or by clicking the Student Portal link in the top-right corner of the website.

Step 2: Open the Account Menu

Once you are logged in, hover your mouse over your name in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 3: View Linked Accounts

A drop-down menu will appear, displaying all accounts linked to yours.

Step 4: Switch to Your Child's Account

Select your child's account from the list to switch to their Student Portal, where you can access their course materials, homework, and other course resources.
