Come and join translator Audrey Langlassé for a relaxing translation workshop over a glass of wine.  

For our first workshop of the year, we will explore a passage by Michel Bussi, a renowned contemporary French author. 

In the first half of the session, you will translate a short extract from English into French (you will be able to use a dictionary). Afterwards, Audrey will share practical translation techniques and lead an interactive activity on French terms of endearment and the different ways to render them.

About your host : 

Audrey Langlassé is an English to French translator with twenty years of experience. She holds the Chartered Institute of Linguists’ Diploma in Translation. After 15 years as a freelancer translating in the field of International Development, Arts and culture and Environment, she’s been working in-house for a transcreation agency specialising in Tech marketing and cybersecurity since 2021.
