On the occasion of our partnership with COP 26 that will occur in Glasgow this year, we present to you our selection from our culturethèque. You will find needful resources to have a better understanding of the main challenges of the climate crisis, and what will be discussed during the upcoming talks.

In order to understand what is causing the atmosphere to go haywire, the animals decide to send the dolphins around the world to gather information. In “Hot planet", cows producing methane (greenhouse gas) symbolise human activities. The investigation introduces young readers to the issue of ecological policies with humour.

On 17 September 2019, the French climate modeling centers at the Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace and Météo-France presented their new climate simulations. These projections will be a key point for the next official IPCC synthesis, scheduled for 2021.
