Join us for a fun introduction and discussion about Francophone comic books! Our librarian Anaïs will showcase a selection of comic books for adults and you will have the opportunity to discover the French and Francophone culture of 'bande-dessinée'. What is making the bande-dessinée so specific and so different from the American version of Comics? Why do French people love the comic book genre so much? Are comics books only for children? (Spoiler alert: they're not!) Let’s discuss this fun topic together! Monday 18th January, 7-8pm The sessions will take place on Zoom.
