Comment devient-on une écrivaine? by Lorna Milne

Date: 20 Feb 2025, 7:00pm - 8:45pm GMT UK

We are delighted to welcome Lorna Milne, the President of the Franco-Scottish Society of Scotland.

Our guest will talk on French Caribbean writers introducing some women writers from the Antilles.

Lorna was Professor of French in the University of St Andrews and held many senior posts there, retiring recently as Deputy Principal. Lorna has a continuing interest in promoting wider understanding of French culture, politics and society.

This event is organised by the Franco-Scottish Society. As always, the evening will include a warm, social gathering for catching up with old friends and meeting new ones in both French and English, with wine and soft drinks provided.

The presentation is open to all students and friends of Alliance Française Glasgow. However, numbers are limited, so we encourage you to register in advance to secure your spot.
