Taking the DELF/DALF in December ? Take a look at our Preparation Courses

DELF & DALF

Formally prove your French proficiency and improve your CV with
DELF and DALF diplomas

Official French Language Certification in Glasgow

The DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are internationally recognised qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education. These lifelong certifications assess your listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills-whether for academic, professional, or personal growth.

We run three exam sessions per year for the A1 to B2 levels in March, June & December, two sessions for the C1 level in June & December and one session for the C2 level in June.

The DELF and DALF are official French language
proficiency qualifications
administered and awarded by the French Ministry of Education. They are valid for life and recognised internationally.

Each exam assesses four skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing.

For more information on the exam format and to access sample papers, visit France Education International.

What are the benefits of a DELF/DALF qualification?

  • an official statement of your French level, which can be used for French nationality applications and many other purposes;
  • proof of how much your French has improved;
  • career advancement and an official qualification for your CV;
  • recognised proof of level for studies at a French university or institute of higher education;
