Join us at the Alliance Française de Glasgow for a screening of the French film Marcel le père Noël et le petit livreur de pizzas (2023), directed by Julie Rembauville and Nicolas Bianco-Levrin.

Un soir de 24 décembre, quelque part dans une banlieue grise, le jeune Abdou, petit livreur de pizzas rêveur, rencontre le véritable Père Noël, Marcel de son prénom. Le vieil homme est usé et fatigué et un bête accident de scooter compromet sa tournée. Grâce à Abdou, qui met à contribution quelques personnages peu banals de son quartier, la distribution aura bien lieu. Dans un grand foutoir, Noël est sauvé, en musique et en chansons !

On the evening of December 24th, somewhere in a grey suburb, young Abdou, a dreamy little pizza delivery boy, meets the real Santa Claus, Marcel, as he’s called. The old man is worn out and exhausted, and a silly scooter accident jeopardizes his whole round. Thanks to Abdou, who calls on a few unusual characters from his neighborhood, the deliveries will indeed take place. In a grand chaotic mess, Christmas is saved with music and songs!
