How To Use The Alliance Française Student Portal

The Student Portal is a central place where students can easily manage different aspects of their learning including interacting with teachers and classmates, submitting assignments, updating profile, etc.

Students can access the portal by using their login details via the navigation link in "Student Corner" section on the Alliance Française de Glasgow website or through the URL: https://www.afglasgow.org.uk/af/students

Students can log in using the email they used to create their account on the AFG website (for example, when they booked their first class) and the password they set during registration.

If you did not set a password or have forgotten it, please click the "Lost Password" link on the login page and follow the instructions in the email you receive (be sure to check your spam or junk folder).

Accessing the Course Feed

The course feed is a constantly updating list of posts which can be in a form of status updates, photos, videos, assignments, or documents. Students can interact with each other by liking and leaving comments on other's posts.

You may also upload photos, videos, or files. Pasting a link will show up a preview of the site.

Managing Assignments

When an assignment with a deadline has been created, it will be automatically posted and pinned (bookmark icon) on the top of the course feed.

Students can submit their work through the post associated with the assignment. They can also view their submission and check the grade after the teacher has reviewed the assignment.
