New is not always better, but this time, we know for sure it is. 


Learning French with Alliance Française Glasgow

The academic year is organised in 4 terms of 8 weeks starting in September, November, February & April. Enrolement for a class is possible at any point during the year.
Classes take place once per week and the length of each lesson is either 2 hours or 3 hours depending on the type of course you choose. 

Our teachers are all qualified native French speakers and our classes are always limited to 15 students* to ensure the best teaching conditions.

How do I join a class ?

If you are a returning student, simply scroll down to find you course and sign up !

If you are a new student, follow these steps: 

1. Create an account on our website
2. Check you level through our
online quiz and book a quick 15-minute phone assessment with one of our teachers. 
3. Once you get your results, simply enrol in the corresponding class !


Set yourself up for the whole year:

If you wish to book a class for the four terms of the academic year, you'll have the option to do so when booking your class for the September term. More information about yearly enrolments can be found here.

Discover

This class is mostly focused on conversation and will help you improve your oral skills by discussing various topics from the French or international news. This course comes with a dedicated grammar segment which will help you revise the most useful grammar points.

Suitable for B1 and up

This class consist of 2,5 hours in class and 30 minutes of autonomous work at home.

Speak
Watch a movie at home and come discuss it with other students ! Explore the themes, character development and directorial choices together through lively debates and discussions.

This class is designed to prepare you for the DELF examination. The course is run by our teachers who are also certified DELF examiners. You will practice the four types of exercises of the DELF exam (Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing) through various activities.

This class consists of two 3-hour workshops taking place on Friday morning.


Pace: 3 hours class / 1 time a week
