Bringing together specialists from France, Germany, Belgium and Scotland, this conference will focus on how museums depict conflicts and the role of culture in the education for peace and reconciliation in post-conflict situations.

International attempts at limiting conflict through the establishment of ‘war crimes’. How the Memorium Museum conveys this in its displays and educational activities.
The legacy of World War One in Germany, leading to the rise of extreme political parties such as the Nazis. How the Documentation Centre conveys this in its exhibitions and educational activities.
Remembering for the Future – Engaging young people with the Holocaust and genocide at the St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art
