European Residency Programme Event / Cove Park

European Residency Programme Event / Cove Park

We’re happy to invite you for a special event to mark Cove Park’s European Residency Programme and to meet the artists Ghislain Bareau (France/Belgium), Klaas Burger (The Netherlands), Jeda Pearl Lewis (Scotland), Emmie McLuskey (Scotland), Eva Medin (France), Nina van den Ven (The Netherlands) and Lillian Samdal (Norway) on Thursday 7th November.

Cove Park, the international artists residency centre based in Argyll and Bute, launched its European Residency Programme in February 2019. Developed in collaboration with arts organisations based in 8 European nations, the aim of this programme is to maintain and develop partnerships between Scotland and EU nations at a pivotal moment in the cultural landscape of Europe.

Throughout 2019 Cove Park is hosting artists, writers, translators, dancers and performers based in European countries. Working with the residency organisation Cité internationale des Arts, Paris, and the Alliance Française, we are delighted to welcome the visual artist Eva Medin to Glasgow and this special event is an opportunity to learn more about the aims of this programme and the work of the participating artists.

Cove Park’s European Residency Programme is supported by British Council Scotland and Creative Scotland.

Venue: Alliance Française Glasgow

Date & time: Thursday 7th November, 6-7.30pm
