We are inviting you to a series of special events on Wednesday 20th March to celebrate la Fête de la Francophonie 

  • Join us for our special café littéraire, 2-3.30pm

Fees: £15 (novel included in the price). If you already have a copy of the book, the cost to attend this event is £13 per person.


  • Celebrate la Francophonie at the Library!

Join us in the Library all day for fun activities such as a memory game, selfie station and a special dictée!

Our dictée will take place at 5pm.

  • Screening of African short films, 6-8pm 

Don’t miss our special screening of African short films! This event will be introduced by Dr. Lizelle Bisschoff, lecturer in Film & Television Studies at the University of Glasgow & trustee of the Africa in Motion Film Festival.
