Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival 2019

As part of the of this year's Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival,

the Alliance Française Glasgow is hosting two special events:

  • a special talk by Dr Peter Jackson, Professor in Modern European History at the University of Glasgow;
  • a fun Art Workshop in French for children and their families!

TALK 

 

'The Eiffel Tower and Kelvingrove Park: how Paris and Glasgow welcomed the world.'

Join us to celebrate the 130th Anniversary of the Eiffel Tower and learn more about the Glasgow & Paris International exhibitions with a special talk by Professor Peter Jackson.

ART WORKSHOP IN FRENCH FOR CHILDREN

Children and their families are invited to take part in a special Art Workshop; this is an ideal opportunity for children aged 3-12 to discover famous French artists through paintings of the Eiffel Tower.

They will be able to recreate their very own artwork to take away, using different art techniques and materials!
