Celebrate la Francophonie with us with a special screening of French-Belgian movie Le Mystère Henri Pick on Thursday 19th March.

Le Mystère Henri Pick, directed by Rémi Bezançon (2019)

Wry, witty and thoroughly enjoyable, this charming French affair echoes Agatha Christie. A manuscript discovered in a remote Brittany library – supposedly written by Henri Pick, a deceased local pizza-restaurant owner – turns into a French literary sensation. When pompous TV literary critic Jean-Michel Rouche (Fabrice Luchini) makes disparaging remarks about Pick, he loses his wife and his job. Jean-Michel decides to turn detective and teams up with Pick’s daughter, Josephine (Camille Cottin), to discover the truth. False leads and literary fun abound. From the novel by David Foenkinos. Cast Fabrice Luchini, Camille Cottin, Alice Isaaz Dir Rémi Bezançon | 101 mins |
