As part of the of this year's Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival, the Alliance Française Glasgow is hosting a special online talk on Wednesday 15th September at 6pm. With the forthcoming COP-26 conference in Glasgow due to take place in November, we think sustainability is essential and has many implications from pollution and energy consumption to building materials, architectural design, and recycling. This year, we are inviting you to join us for a special online discussion with French expats on (via Zoom) about circular economy and sustainable practices in Scotland, and we will demonstrate how local action can help support and drive the transition to net-zero. Wednesday 15th September, 6pm. The talk will be in English. This session will take place online via Zoom (details will be sent to you by email before the event).

The Alliance Française Glasgow is a local charity, therefore 95% of its income is generated by your subscription to all its activities. Like all other institutions and individuals alike, we are going to suffer greatly from this crisis and we certainly hope all our students, members and guests will be in a position to continue to attend their lessons as well as take part in our cultural activities, and thus support the Alliance Française Glasgow's staff during this difficult period. We are organising this event for free, but in order to support the AFG, you can donate here.
